NADDC and Heija Industrial Group set for Potential Partnership.
In a strategic move to foster more development in the automotive sector, the National Automotive Design and Development Council has commenced collaborative engagement with Heija Industrial Group from China. The partnership aims to explore opportunities for collaboration in automotive design and manufacturing.
During the meeting held on Thursday 17th October 2024 in Abuja, the Naddc Director General, Joseph Osanipin emphasized the importance of international partnerships in driving innovation and fostering local industry growth, reiterating NADDC’s readiness for progressive partnership with industry players..
The Vice Chairman of Heijia Industrial Group, Mr. Wu Jianlin in his statements also affirmed that the engagement marks a significant step towards creating a platform for exchange and cooperation between the automotive industry in Nigeria and China.
The MOU for the collaboration when drafted and endorsed would in no small measure serve as a catalyst to drive automotive trade parts manufacturing, NEV technology and international capacity transfer, potentially leading to increased investments and job creation in the sector.
