The visit led by NADDC Director-General, Mr. Joseph Osanipin aimed to foster collaboration and develop a progressive path for the industry’s future.

During the meeting, Mr. Osanipin outlined NADDC’s vision of positioning Nigeria as a global leader in automotive manufacturing. He highlighted the Council’s commitment to developing the industry through recommended incentives, protective measures, and support for the establishment of automotive assembly plants and component manufacturers, ensuring the highest industry standards.

Osanipin also provided an extensive briefing on NADDC’s ongoing initiatives, focused on increasing the percentage of development of auto components, local vehicle production, expanding the electric vehicle ecosystem, and enhancing automotive policies to attract investments and drive innovation.

The Minister however expressed his full commitment to providing the leadership needed to overcome the challenges and align the sector with global standards.

This engagement reinforces NADDC’s dedication to advancing Nigeria’s automotive agenda and supporting sustainable economic growth.
